Quantitative sandwich ELISA for measuring Human D-aspartate oxidase (DDO) in samples from cell culture supernatants, serum, whole blood, plasma and other biological fluids.

The protein encoded by DDO is a peroxisomal flavoprotein that catalyzes the oxidative deamination of D-aspartate and N-methyl D-aspartate. Flavin adenine dinucleotide or 6-hydroxyflavin adenine dinucleotide can serve as the cofactor in this reaction. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for DDO.

All of the components are shipped on ice packs/blue ice. Upon receiving the kit keep it at +4 degrees Celsius for up to 1 year (refer to the label on the box for the exact expiration date).
