The goal of BPS Bioscience is to advance new scientific discoveries by creating innovative research solutions that lead to therapies. Research progress depends on reliable model systems that accurately reflect biological systems. The company specialises in protein design, expression, purification and characterisation, cell line and lentivirus engineering, and biochemical and cellular assay development. Its products and services have enabled thousands of researchers to advance their biological discoveries in a wide range of disciplines, including epigenetics, cell signalling, SARS-CoV-2, immunotherapy, adoptive cell therapies and many others.

Products and services
They offer over 4,000 products focusing mainly on immunotherapy, epigenetics, coronaviruses, CRISPR, cell signalling and cell metabolism. BPS Bioscience is able to supply products in large quantities and through contract and custom manufacturing. Its scientific expertise has enabled specific research projects to be carried out through the supply of custom cell lines and cell-based assays, lentiviruses, proteins and biochemical assays. The company also offers biochemical and cellular screening services using its 200+ in-house developed assay systems.

What problems does it solve?
BPS Bioscience started by developing difficult-to-produce recombinant proteins and protein complexes related to epigenetics and cell signalling that were not readily available on the market. The biofunctionalised proteins were then applied to the development of biochemical test kits, which are now offered in more than seven different formats, such as chemiluminescence, UV/vis and colorimetry, fluorogen, TR-FRET, fluorescence polarisation and AlphaLISA®.
