Quantitative sandwich ELISA for measuring Human Putative beta-glucuronidase-like protein SMA3 (GUSBP1) in samples from cell culture supernatants, serum, whole blood, plasma and other biological fluids.
Beta-glucuronidases are members of the glycosidase family of enzymes that catalyze breakdown of complex carbohydrates. Human ?-glucuronidase is a type of glucuronidase (a member of glycosidase Family 2) that catalyzes hydrolysis of ?-D-glucuronic acid residues from the non-reducing end of mucopolysaccharides (also referred to as glycosaminoglycans) such as heparan sulfate. Human ?-glucuronidase is located in the lysosome. In the gut, brush border ?-glucuronidase converts conjugated bilirubin to the unconjugated form for reabsorption. Beta-glucuronidase is also present in breast milk, which contributes to neonatal jaundice. The protein is encoded by the GUSB gene.
All of the components are shipped on ice packs/blue ice. Upon receiving the kit keep it at +4 degrees Celsius for up to 1 year (refer to the label on the box for the exact expiration date).
